Here we go. Update number one. I’ve enjoyed this challenge so far. Some days I’ve spent more time drawing than others. I have mostly been playing around with shading and things this time but I’ve also started out on a longer term drawing for a specific purpose. Here are the ‘complete’ sketches that I’ve done.
I know it’s for social media really, but this is my contribution to #ChristmasJumperDay (t-shirt)
I really like visiting family. It’s great.
This weekend we headed down to Somerset to see Siân’s folks. There are many good things about these times. Food usually plays a large part. A lot of laughter, too. The kids have plenty of time with their cousins. We were also treated to a trip to the theatre to see The Girl and The Giraffe – very entertaining, and thought provoking.
One of the best things, though, is the ready made child care and the chance for Siân & I to head out for a run. We don’t often run together so it’s always good. This time was a 10k along the canal in Taunton. I didn’t take my phone so I had to make do with a photo of the trainers.
Camping down in Devon this week. Lack of sensible phone charging is great for the disconnect.
Today has been a feeling of empty. Made worse just now by being the only one left in an office waiting for a Windows update to finish.
This is the feeling. We’ve said goodbye to a couple of members of the BeyondPR team this week, and today is the day that hit home. Mostly because it’s the first day without them.
Today has been a feeling of empty. Farewell…
Looking at the grey outside this memory feels like more than ten days ago.
I know it’s a bit of a childish like sketch, but I suppose that’s what happens when you try to learn stuff…
On visiting a chapel the other day my daughter pointed out this sign. It was only easily visible from inside the chapel. It reads:
Please finish eating & smoking before you come in
Anna pointed at it, laughed, and said, “shouldn’t that be easier to see outside?”
Already a UX critic.
