We took the kids to The National Emergency Services Museum earlier this week. It was fabulous, and the entry was one of those annual ticket things, so more visits will be had during the next twelve months I am sure. The kids learnt a lot that day, one unintended lesson was how important it is to consider alignment when creating a word search!
Anna, the UX critic, spent a few moments tapping this before declaring it didn’t work.
“What’s NFC? It’s useless…”
Then our bus arrived.
July was supposed to be my first Triathlon effort.
I didn’t do it. I decided my disappointment at doing it badly was going to be bigger than my disappointment at not doing it at all. I wasn’t using the thing as motivation to train, it was just making me feel bad about not training.
On visiting a chapel the other day my daughter pointed out this sign. It was only easily visible from inside the chapel. It reads:
Please finish eating & smoking before you come in
Anna pointed at it, laughed, and said, “shouldn’t that be easier to see outside?”
Already a UX critic.
